He is distinguished by his golden scales, his cream-colored belly, his red wings and crest. After the Night King revives him, Viserion joins the Army of the Dead as his mount.

Biography of Viserion

Season 1

In its egg form, it is given to Daenerys by Illyrio Mopatis at her wedding, along with the eggs of Rhaegal and Drogon. The latter thinks that time has petrified them.

Viserys later tries to steal the eggs from Daenerys but Jorah stops him.

At Khal Drogo's funeral pyre, Daenerys has the eggs placed at her side and enters the flames. When the pyre stops burning, Daenerys emerges unharmed with the three dragons alive, with Viserion clutching her left calf.

Season 2

Daenerys Targaryen teaches her dragons to breathe fire upon hearing "dracarys" and finds that they can now feed on their own in Qarth.

Later, someone steals the dragons and takes them to the House of the Undying.

Daenerys then goes to get them but finds herself trapped with them. She orders them to burn her enemies. Once freed, she orders her men to plunder the city and keeps her three dragons with her, Drogon on her shoulder and Viserion and Rhaegal in each of her hands.

Season 3

On the journey to Astapor, he flies with his brothers around the ship. In Yunkai, he stays close to Daenerys on a perch during her meeting with Razdal mo Eraz. After the liberation of Yunkai, the three dragons are placed at the feet of Daenerys who tells them to fly away.

Season 4

On the way to Meereen, he fights with his brothers over a sheep. Later, Daenerys locks him and Rhaegal in the catacombs of Meereen after discovering that Drogon burned a little girl.

Season 5

A few days later, Daenerys comes to the dragons to try to control them but when they realize her presence, they try to burn her.

After the death of Barristan Selmy, Daenerys arrests the leaders of the noble families and takes them to the catacombs. She uses her dragons as a deterrent after Rhaegal burns a man and eats him with Viserion.

Season 6

After Daenerys disappears, Rhaegal and Viserion starve themselves to death.

Tyrion decides to go and free them and goes down into the catacombs. At first, despite their hostility towards him, he explains to them that when he was a child, he wanted a dragon but was told that they had all disappeared. Viserion and Rhaegal listen to him and let him untie them by putting their necks within his reach and then let him go.

When Daenerys returns with Drogon, Rhaegal and Viserion destroy the entrance to the catacombs and come to help them burn the fleet of the masters of Yunkai, Astapor and Volantis.

When Daenerys and her fleet leave for Westeros, Viserion and his brothers accompany her.

Season 7

Viserion lives in Peyredragon with Rhaegal and Drogon where he frequently flies over the place.

He accompanies his mother Daenerys Targaryen Beyond the Wall with his brothers to rescue the team that has gone to capture a wraith. As he flies over and burns the specters, the Night King pierces him with an ice javelin and kills him. His body breaks through the ice and sinks to the bottom of the lake.

After the battle is over, the specters pull his body out of the water and the Night King resurrects him as a specter. Later, Viserion creates a breach in the Wall so that the Army of the Dead can pass through and invade the Kingdom of the Seven Crowns.

Season 8

Viserion serves as the Night King's mount and fights by his side during the Battle between the Army of the Dead and the Kingdom of the Seven Crowns. When the Night King is finally killed by Arya Stark, the Army of the Dead is disintegrated and Viserion is destroyed as well, finally resting in peace.
